So 19 months of preparation have come down to the next 24 hours.

Shella finished work on Tuesday and I finished on Wednesday and we don't return to work until 27th July. I haven't had this amount of time off since I was at school many moons ago!

For the past two days we have been up at the field in Sparsholt getting everything ready for Saturday.

I have to say, its looking absolutely brilliant and credit goes to many people. Martin has very kindly loaned us his tent for the night and Bridesmaid Kelly decorated it with the words 'Bridal Suite' on the outside with gold curtains and posh carpets.

With literally one day to go til the wedding I'm surprisingly calm, I actually feel no nerves which is odd knowing what I'm like. I think having had so long to think about it has helped! Yet still I am struggling to get over the stag do which was two weeks ago now. My throat is still bunged up and sore. 5 days of drinking at my age really did take its toll.

Shella did have her first bridezilla moment this afternoon because she was stressed over the timings of everything arriving, but she soon calmed down. It might also have had something to do with the 30 degree heat.

The most important thing arrived this afternoon which was the luxury toilets. I so wanted to christen them but unfortunately had nothing in the tank. Shella has added lots of luxury essentials in there like deodorant and mouthwash for the men, hairspray, cotton buds, face wipes for the women.

So the plan for Saturday is I'm going to go for a quick run early morning. This normally helps with my thinking and builds a few more brain cells to add to the solitary one I have at the moment. Best man Jon is staying on Friday night and Ushers Ash and Matt are coming round my house at 8.30am, we're then going for breakfast at The Running Horse in Littleton for 9am. After that there should be plenty of time to chill and slowly get ready, then we're off to The Plough in Sparsholt at 12.15pm for a quick beer (or something that won't fill my bladder during the ceremony). Then it's off to the church for 1pm when Shella will be hopefully turning up at 1.30pm.

With so much going on over the next few days and then off on honeymoon I won't be writing my final blog until the end of this month. I'm sure you can hold on until then to read about how it all went but I'll I'd just like to say thanks for reading the blogs up until now and we look forward to meeting some of you on Saturday night.

Fingers crossed the weather holds out and everyone has a cracking time.
